Real Food, Real Process
Q: Why do you ship cold?
A: Because Cookie Not Cookie is a real baked product — not a shelf-stable bar loaded with preservatives. Cold shipping preserves freshness and taste, without the need for additives or stabilizers.
Q: Why do you bake at 275°F?
A: Most cookies and bars are baked at high temperatures that can degrade heat-sensitive nutrients. We bake at a lower 275°F to help preserve the benefits of our ingredients — like antioxidants in cacao, healthy fats in flax and chia, and the plant compounds in cinnamon and oats. That means you’re not just getting great ingredients — you’re actually getting more from them.
Q: How are your cookies sweetened?
A: We use a blend of allulose, agave syrup, and natural fruit sugars from apples and bananas to deliver just the right amount of sweetness — without blood sugar spikes or empty calories. Allulose is a naturally occurring rare sugar found in figs and raisins. It tastes like regular sugar but isn’t metabolized by the body, so it has no impact on blood sugar and no weird aftertaste.
Storage & Freshness
Q: What’s the best way to store or defrost them?
A: Store in the fridge for everyday snacking, or freeze for long-term storage. To defrost, leave at room temperature for 1–2 hours, or pop in the microwave for 45–60 seconds at 35-50% power.
Q: How long do the cookies last?
A: Our cookies stay fresh in the freezer for up to 6 months and in the fridge for up to 1 week. We recommend refrigerating them upon arrival unless you plan to freeze them for later.
Q: Can I travel with them?
A: Yes! Just keep them cool. We recommend using an insulated bag for longer trips, or freezing before traveling.
Dietary & Lifestyle Info
Q: Are your cookies vegan and gluten-free?
A: Yes! Every Cookie Not Cookie flavor is completely plant-based and made without any gluten-containing ingredients. No dairy, no eggs, no wheat — just real food that fits most dietary lifestyles.
Q: What makes these cookies better than a regular protein bar or snack?
A: Most protein bars are packed with artificial ingredients or chalky protein isolates. Cookie Not Cookie is different: we use only real food — like chickpeas, almond flour, and sweet potato — to deliver 20g of plant-based protein, healthy fats, and gut-friendly fiber, with no crash and no compromises.
Q: What ingredients do you use?
A: Each cookie is made with 21 real-food ingredients, including chickpeas, almond flour, allulose, agave syrup, sweet potato, apples, bananas, chia seeds, and flaxseed. No gluten, no dairy, no junk — just food your body understands.
Q: What are the benefits of your superfood ingredients?
A: Maca powder helps support natural energy and stamina. Cinnamon may help regulate blood sugar. Blueberries, cranberries, and cacao nibs are rich in antioxidants to support recovery and vitality. And oats and sweet potato provide slow-release energy to keep you full and focused.
